Corrections Log
Last updated:
CloudBasedPOSSystem.com aims to publish accurate information and to be open about the mistakes we make.
When we find a material factual error in a review, comparison, guide, product page, pricing article or other editorial content, we correct it and record the change on this page.
We leave minor spelling, grammar, formatting or style edits out of this log unless they change the meaning of the content.

Our Corrections Policy
2 business days to investigate
3 business days to correct confirmed errors
We aim to investigate reported factual errors within 2 business days and correct confirmed material errors within 3 business days. Complex issues may need more verification.
When we make a material correction, we note it on the affected page and record it in this log.
A log entry may include:
- Date of correction
- Page or article affected
- Nature of the original error
- What we changed
- Reason for the correction
- Source used to verify the new information
- Whether the correction affected a score, ranking, recommendation or conclusion
What We Consider a Material Correction
Material corrections may involve errors in:
- POS pricing
- Subscription fees
- Transaction or payment-processing fees
- Contract terms
- Hardware pricing
- Product availability
- Supported countries
- Supported payment methods
- Integrations
- Product functionality
- Tax or compliance information
- Trial periods
- Cancellation terms
- Company ownership
- Product discontinuation
- Review scores
- Rankings
- Recommendations
- Security or privacy-related information
- Claims that could influence a purchasing decision
If a correction changes our overall assessment of a product, we update the review score, ranking, recommendation or conclusion to match.
Changes We Don't Log
We may fix these without a log entry:
- Spelling mistakes
- Grammar issues
- Punctuation
- Formatting problems
- Broken links
- Minor wording improvements
- Image replacements
- Non-substantive design changes
- Updates that don't change the meaning of the content
Routine updates that keep pricing, features or availability current count as content maintenance, not corrections, when the earlier information was accurate at publication.
Current Corrections
There are no material corrections to report at this time. As we publish and update more reviews, comparisons and research, we'll list material corrections below.

Example of How Corrections Will Be Recorded
Future entries will follow this format:
- Correction date:
- March 14, 2027
- Page:
- Example POS Review
- Original information:
- The article stated that the provider charged a 2.4% transaction fee.
- Correction:
- We updated the transaction fee to 2.6% after checking the provider's current pricing documentation.
- Impact:
- Pricing section updated. The overall review score didn't change.
- Verification source:
- Provider's official pricing documentation.
If a correction changes the review, the entry will say so. For example:
- Impact:
- The pricing score dropped from 8.5/10 to 8.0/10, which lowered the overall score from 8.8/10 to 8.7/10.
Updates vs. Corrections
Not every change to an article fixes an error. Vendors change POS products often, including:
- Prices
- Features
- Hardware
- Payment rates
- Integrations
- Plans
- Contracts
- Supported countries
- Policies
Content update
When we update an article because a vendor changed its product after we published, we treat it as a content update, not a correction.
Correction
We log a correction when information we published was materially inaccurate, misleading or missing a needed qualification at the time it appeared.
Vendor-Requested Corrections
POS providers, payment companies, software vendors and other organizations can contact us if they believe our information about their products is wrong. We welcome factual corrections backed by reliable evidence.
Vendors can't require us to:
- Remove accurate criticism
- Increase a review score
- Change an editorial recommendation
- Remove a competitor
- Improve a ranking
- Change an opinion because they disagree with it
- Suppress accurate information in exchange for advertising or a commercial relationship
We judge vendor requests by the same fact-checking standards we apply to reader reports.
Corrections Involving Affiliate or Commercial Partners
Commercial relationships don't affect our corrections process. If an advertiser, affiliate partner, sponsor or referral partner reports a factual error, we review the claim and correct the content if the evidence supports it. We also make corrections that are unfavorable to an advertiser or partner.
How to Report an Error
If you think you've found an error on CloudBasedPOSSystem.com, contact us.
Email: pos@
Please include:
- The URL of the affected page
- The information you believe is wrong
- A short explanation of the issue
- Supporting evidence or a reliable source, if you have one
- The date you noticed the issue
Supporting documents speed up our investigation.
Our Review Process
When someone reports a possible error, we may:
- Review the original source used for the article.
- Check the vendor's current official website and documentation.
- Review product pricing, terms or help documentation.
- Contact the company for clarification where needed.
- Review archived or dated material when timing matters.
- Compare the claim with reliable independent or regulatory sources.
- Correct the article if the evidence confirms an error.
- Update the review score or recommendation if the correction changes our assessment.
We base corrections on evidence alone.
Correction Notices on Individual Pages
When we make a material correction, the affected page will carry a notice like this:
Correction ([Date]): This article previously stated [incorrect information]. We updated it after verifying that [correct information]. The correction [did / did not] affect our overall rating or recommendation.
Older correction notices may stay visible so readers can see how the content changed over time.
Last Updated Dates
Many reviews, comparisons, guides and product pages on CloudBasedPOSSystem.com show a Last Updated or Last Reviewed date. That date shows we reviewed or changed the content. It doesn't mean we made a correction. We record material corrections on the affected page and in this log.
Commitment to Transparency
Our goal is to:
- Research before we publish
- Verify important claims
- Correct mistakes within the timelines above
- Explain significant corrections in plain language
- Keep commercial relationships separate from editorial decisions
- Give readers an accurate record of meaningful changes
If something on our site doesn't look accurate, contact our editorial team.
